The Office of Global Health Education (OGHE) is one of several global health initiatives taking place at Weill Cornell. OGHE primary function is to oversee the medical college’s Global Health Curriculum, a longitudinal, elective global health program for Weill Cornell medical students. Information about each program is listed below.
The Center for Global Health, housed in the Department of Medicine, represents Weill Cornell Medical College and Cornell University in the NIH Global Health Network. Its long-standing work in Haiti, Brazil, and Tanzania now includes a Resident education component.
The Global Health Curriculum program was initiated and designed by faculty and students whose goal was to design an academic elective curriculum for students interested in global health. This curriculum is now a highly regarded and a popular elective program for Weill Cornell medical students.
