Before you receive an official notification of acceptance to our program, you will receive a "conditional" acceptance pending health clearance.
Health Statement Formalong with corresponding labs must be submitted. You will receive an email from IMSE with a link to upload this form and corresponding lab results. All documents must be uploaded at once. This must be submitted no later than thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the Conditional Acceptance Letter.Pleaseclick hereto review the Health Statement FAQs and guide prior to having your physician complete your Health Statement Form.
Please note that Influenza vaccine for students approved for an elective at WCM should be obtained in the USA for the current strain. This can be at a local pharmacy or an Urgent Care Center. A receipt should be provide as your proof of receiving the vaccine. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GET THE FLU VACCINE IN YOUR HOME COUNTRY!
Once you have been cleared, you should receive your official acceptance letter approximately 2 months prior to the start date of the elective you were placed in.
Please note that all placements are final (conditional or official offer) and cannot be changed. Once you receive a conditional acceptance, your spot will be held unless you decline or let the offer expire.
